Double degree programme (aka. double diploma programme) is an initiative that allows students to obtain 2 diplomas of 2 different universities during one study cycle.  Double degree programme is a programme that enables student mobility based on an agreement concluded with a foreign higher education institution and an Agreement on Mutual Support in the Education of Students. Under this programme, a student undertakes studies at their home university and at the host university, following a programme of study specified in the Equivalence Protocol, leading to the award of a diploma from both the home university and the host university.

The part of the studies completed at the host university and the home university is respectively recognized by the home university and the host university on the basis of the equivalence of learning outcomes.
