The POTENTIAL project focuses on the development of an innovative platform supporting precision potato production management using advanced technologies such as AI, IoT, NIR spectroscopy, and remote sensing.
The international consortium includes Besler (project leader) and Gesk Technologies (Turkey), Phasegrowth (Estonia), Pomeranian University in Słupsk (project manager: Magdalena Piekutowska, PhD Eng; research team: Tomasz Hetmański, DSc; Grzegorz Diemientiew, PhD), and the Poznań University of Life Sciences.
The main objectives of the meeting included the installation of an intelligent AI-based measurement system in a production field, discussion of the project’s budgetary and administrative issues, development of cooperation between consortium members within new R&D projects, and activities related to precision agriculture and cooperation with farmers.
