Mass Casualty Simulation
On Saturday, a mass casualty simulation was conducted near the dormitories of Pomeranian University in Słupsk. The event was organized by the Institute of Health Sciences – Department of Emergency Medical Services. The simulated scenario involved 30 "injured" patients, 20 of whom were in critical condition. The rescue operations were carried out using authentic protocols and medical transport procedures.
Emergency services, military personnel, students, as well as dispatchers and coordinators from Gdańsk, worked together to manage the simulated crisis. Nearly 20 instructors supervised the process to ensure realism and educational value. The main goal of the simulation was to strengthen coordination and teamwork in mass casualty situations.
A big thank you to everyone who helped make this event possible — students, emergency teams, partner companies, and all the amazing volunteers. Your dedication and hard work made this training both successful and memorable.
