6 October 2026, 4:45 p.m. the Rector expressed his gratitude to the National Agricultural Support Centre, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, members of Parliament and local government authorities, as well as partners from the social and economic environment and the agricultural sector.
The ceremony was attended by representatives of the Parliament of the Republic of Poland, local government authorities, the academic community, public institutions, the education and business sectors, the University’s partners, farmers, and residents of the Grzmiąca municipality.
The symbolic ribbon-cutting ceremony was performed by the Rector of Pomeranian University in Słupsk, the Chairwoman of the University Council, Prof. Tamara Zacharuk, and the Mayor of the Grzmiąca Municipality, Patryk Makowski. All those gathered had the opportunity to explore the Station’s scientific potential through demonstrations prepared by the University’s research and teaching staff.
Students of the new Biotechnology programme also visited the Station for the first time.
The Research and Teaching Station in Grzmiąca of Pomeranian University in Słupsk brings together the potential of our academic institution with that of West Pomerania and the Drawsko Lakeland, responding to the needs of science, the economy and the region.
