During the ceremony, newly admitted students and doctoral candidates took their academic oath.

The inaugural lecture, titled “Science in the Era of Algorithmic Co-authorship: Standards of Responsibility, Citation, and Verification”, was delivered by professor Bronisław Sitek, Chair of the Council for Scientific Excellence.
In his address, Professor Sitek emphasized:
“[…] Here in Słupsk, at Pomeranian University, we are privileged - we create knowledge in a place where the sea meets science and the horizon never ends. This is where it becomes most evident that true progress lies in connection: tradition with modernity, people with technology, knowledge with responsibility […]”.

We sincerely thank professor Sitek for his thought-provoking and inspiring lecture.

The ceremony was honored by the presence of representatives of the national parliament, regional and local authorities, as well as numerous guests from the academic, legal, medical, educational, religious, and uniformed services.
