Visit of Kherson State University (KSU) representatives
The turn of June and July witnessed a visit of a delegation from Kherson State University, Ukraine, to our University. The representatives of KSU, namely professor Alla Tsapiv, Vice-rector for International Cooperation, and Yevheniia Revenko, head of the International Office, discussed new forms of cooperation, aiming at strengthening even more the fruitful cooperation between our universities. In particular, the discussions revolved around the new Erasmus+ Virtual Exchange programme, new double degree programmes, semester exchange mobilities, etc.
Our guests were welcomed by the Rector of the Pomeranian University in Słupsk, professor Zbigniew Osadowski, who reaffirmed our commitment to developing new cooperation areas, and presented the scope of assistance offered by our University for Ukrainian citizens, including students and their families. On their part, our partners presented the current situation of students and staff at Kherson State University.
The KSU delegation also learned about current activities and projects coordinated by the Office for Development and Cooperation. During the meeting with the Vice-Rector for Development and Cooperation, professor Marek Łukasik, representatives of the Kherson State University discussed in detail the new activities that could bring both universities even closer.
The representatives of our partner university also had the opportunity to get acquainted with the infrastructure of our University, visit the Monoprofile Medical Simulation Center, and take part in the ceremony for the graduates of nursing at the Institute of Health Sciences. They also enjoyed a sightseeing tour of Słupsk, participated in cultural events in the city, and visited the seaside resort of Ustka.
