On 20 April 20 2023, Rector of Pomeranian University in Słupsk, professor Zbigniew Osadowski, signed a cooperation agreement between the Pomeranian University in Słupsk and Kiev State University of Trade and Economics.

On April 19, 2023, the authorities of Pomeranian University in Słupsk were delighted to host the authorities of the city of Słupsk. The delegation came to personally congratulate the Rector and the entire academic community on the transition of Akademia Pomorska in Słupsk into a full Pomeranian University.

As of 1 June 2023, Pomeranian University in Słupsk will transform into a full university. The status upgrade follows very high results obtained in the 2021 evaluation of research output. This is a historic moment for the entire academic community, our local environment and the entire region.

On February 17, 2023, the 1st International Poetry Competition for schoolchildren and students titled: “Inspired by the word of Abai” was held at the Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University.

We are very pleased to inform you that on February 4, 2023, during a press conference organised at the premises of our University, Mr Piotr Müller, Polish MP and government press secretary, and Rector of Pomeranian University in Słupsk, professor Zbigniew Osadowski, jointly announced the initiation of the procedure aimed at transforming our institution into a full university.
