The first graduates of the uniform five-year physiotherapy degree programme took their oath today at our University and joined the ranks of physiotherapists. 

The main celebrations of the 54th Anniversary of Pomeranian University in Słupsk took place on 1. and 2. June 2023, with the first day open to all inhabitants of the city of Słupsk, in particular schoolchildren and their families, and taking the form of the Science and Sports Day, and the second day culminating in the official Celebration Ceremony and an evening University Gala.

The date of 1 June 2023 will forever be written in the history of Pomeranian University in Słupsk.  It is on this day that our institution became a full (classical) University! The status upgrade is a result of years-long hard work of our researchers, positive outcome of last year’s research output evaluation as well as incessant work of the university management towards this goal. 

On 26 May 2023, the Abai Kazakh Culture and Science Center at the Department of Modern Languages, hosted the 5th International Scientific Seminar titled "The Reading of Abai: history and perspectives of Kazakhstan's culture in the Eurasian space". The seminar was dedicated to the 95th anniversary of the founding of Abai University in Almaty and the 100th anniversary of the birth of the pedagogue, scholar and translator Aleksander Zhovtis.

Juwenalia is a unique students' holiday in Poland, traditionally celebrated in May. This is the time when students symbolically take over the power over their cities and organise events, such as knowledge contests, sports competitions, concerts, etc. 

Meetings with the Polish youth, students from Argentina and Brazil, meetings at the Universidad de Buenos Aires, participation In the educational fairs at the Polish House in Buenos Aires and in the international Salao do Estudante fair in Curitiba - these are only a few items in the agenda of the Educational Mission to Argentina and Brazil, which took place between 17-22 March 2023.
